Search the web

Type, speak, or tap a suggestion.

Type what you're looking for in the address bar, or in the search box on the New Tab page, and tap Go on your keyboard. If you type a web address, like wikipedia.org, that site opens instead.

Good to know

  • Suggestions appear as you type. Tap one to search for it.
  • Tap to search by speaking.
  • A link you've just copied shows up as a suggestion, ready to open.
  • Don't want suggestions? Turn off Search suggestions in Settings, under Search engine.
