Smart BrowserOpen sites faster with Rocket Loading
Starts loading where you're going while you type.
With Rocket Loading on, Smart Browser starts loading a site while you're still typing its name. When you pause, it fetches the best match from your bookmarks and history, or the address you've typed, so it opens almost at once when you tap it.
- Tap the menu button next to the address bar, then tap Settings.
- Tap Data & downloads.
- Turn on Rocket Loading.
Good to know
- It's off to start with, because it uses a little more data. A site you load ahead but don't open has still been downloaded.
- It pauses while Data saver is on, and never works in incognito tabs.
- Only secure sites (those starting with https) are loaded ahead.
