Find your way around
The buttons you'll use most, and what each one does.
Almost everything starts from the bar at the top of the screen, where you type a web address or a search. If you've moved it to the bottom, it's there instead.
- Home takes you to your homepage.
- A green shield means the site you're on is secure. Tap it to see that site's settings, such as turning off ad blocking just there. On a site that isn't secure you'll see instead.
- The tabs button shows how many tabs you have open. Tap it to see them all.
- The menu has everything else: new tabs, bookmarks, history, downloads and Settings.
Every new tab opens on the New Tab page, with a search box and your favourite sites. The button at its top left opens Apps, a set of handy tools such as PDF Tools and a document scanner.
Looking for a setting and not sure where it is? Open Settings and type what you want in Search settings at the top.
