Open, switch and close tabs

Keep several pages open and jump between them.

Tabs let you keep several pages open at once, so you don't lose your place.

  • Open a new tab: tap , then New tab.
  • See your tabs: tap . The number is how many are open.
  • Switch: tap the tab you want.
  • Close one: tap on that tab.
Want your tabs always in sight? In Settings, open Address bar & menu and turn on Tab strip. Your tabs then sit in a row above the address bar.
