Barriers of uncertainty

A mass of pressure
A pulse of will
But barriers of uncertainty
Confine me in a cell

I crave to escape
To alter what I reject
But feelings restrain me
Like ropes around my flesh

I don't vow to be calm
But I wrestle to defy

But stasis is my doom
